Evelyn, a Chinese-ethnicity girl with aspirations of becoming a journalist. Amidst the twists and turns of Evelyn's family life during the 1998 riots, she encounters a native man named Cakra who always cares for her. On the other hand, Evelyn's father, struggling to restore his family's economy, arranges for Evelyn to be betrothed to a Chinese man named Eric, ensuring that all of Evelyn's needs will be provided for.

Pentas Seni, abbreviated as "Pensi", is an annual special event of Masa Depan Cerah Highschool that presents various performances in the form of visual arts, music, drama, and dance.
Delivering impressions and memories packaged in a show, this event is the final and largest project of the 12th-grade students of Masa Depan Cerah Highschool, creating an unforgettable experience for all spectators without exception.
